Google, on their Android Developer website, just updated their Android version market share chart to represent the current market numbers (as on 1st August 2012) .
As we can see in the table below, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich),
launched in November last year, now accounts for around 16% of the total
Android market. Version 2.3 (Gingerbread), launched December 2010,
still leads the pack with over 60% of the total Android market.
The newly launched Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) accounts for just 0.8%, which is understandable as Jelly Bean is now present (officially) only on Nexus devices, barring Nexus One.
